Yeh it was a pretty good game. As I said on TS, I wouldn't have wanted to put money on that game. It really could have gone either way.

We had too many turnovers...Miller couldn't do it all. Aside from that, though, that was a great hockey game to watch. I really thought that we'd pull it out after the Parise goal with 24 secs left, but it was not meant to be. Heaven forbid if Canada had lost, though...the country may have folded

It was a big game for us.
Some stats I found:
27.6 million people in the US watched parts of the game, mostly the last period onward. Population: 308,792,000 people (300 MILLION)
26.5 million viewers in Canada watched parts of the game, mostly the last period onward. Population: 34,020,000 (34 MILLION)
Apparently we Canadians enjoy hockey... and TV.

yeah very proud of gold. but the US have made a huge comback in the last couple years in their junior and senior hockey programs. It shows in the last world junior hockey and the olympics. Say the US had to play Russian instead of Canada i would of put my money on the US. If i can only travel through time and change shit...

As an member of this country(USA), i say........
Screw USA hockey lol, GO CANADA! Nice job. Was routing for them the whole time. russia was actually my silver hopeful, but whatever lol.
